Learning English Through Short Stories

Learning English Through Short Stories aims to increase YOUR reading proficiency, develop YOUR language and literacy skills, cultivate an interest in reading and help YOU to appreciate English literature.
There will be 10 short stories in this course:
- The Model Millionaire
- the Gift of the Magi
- The Red-Headed League
- Hills like White Elephants
- Eveline
- The Diamond Necklace
- the Country of the Blind
- Babylon Revisited
- Lottery
The course will look at the full texts of the short stories, and encourage critical reading. There will be both a literature and a language focus section.
