This course is for students about to embark on a course of study in an English medium university. Students are expected to have completed a high school education.

This course is also for students taking ELC1007, University English for Higher Diploma Students I. Successfully completing Upgrading Your Grammar satisfies the IndiWork requirement for ELC1007.
